I use it in my LX with VN master, VN rear calipers and Wilwood calipers.
Don't know about an LC but I like to think there is nothing wrong with that brake fluid or its compatibility

just do not mix dot 3 and dot 4 fluid, they are not all compatable and if you get the wrong combonation it will not be good at all. rebuild the cylinders after cleaning everything out can be the resault.

I have pretty much always run DOT4 on old cars but there are some rubber seals that are supposed to be not compatible with the DOT4 stuff... I don't really know what era they stopped making the rubber seals that really want DOT3 instead.

3 and 4 are fine
3 is less viscous... so supposedly flows faster
Hence why Toyota specifies it
Many cars use it for ABS spec vehicles because of this
When we were all young.. DOT3 was for drum brakes and mums taxi
Dot 4 was more "performance" for disc braked cars
Has a slightly higher boiling point
Not much of that means anything anymore with better technology the lowliest of low fluid now is probably better than the best Dot 4 you could buy in the 70's
Now... DOT 5 on the other hand... which is silicone based...never use it
It aerates , compresses and doesn't absorb water... which is bad... cause your brakes do get water in them
And when the brakes get hot... this water will boil off and instant no pedal and big repair bill
Only use it on road tractors (harleys - as it doesn't mess up paint) and slew brakes on cranes
Then theirs DOT5.1 - still made of the same lovely DuPont stuff as DOT3+4 ... just higher temp spec again... and low viscosity for ABS vehicles
