Factory piston? Virgin HP block?

Hiya gents - found this tonight, it came from the hp 179 i was given years ago.

Could you please tell me, is it an original factory made one?

I don't know, but any aftermarrket piston would have the size stamped into the top. Even standard bore ones have STD or 0.

Does look factory with the orientation mark in the top. I rebuilt a virgin HP recently but the original pistons went to the machinist and didn’t come back. If I get motivated could pull one out of a 149 later.
