Hi All,

Although not committed I regularly think about buying more period correct wheels for my LX Sedan and a lot of the period stuff is 15"

When I look for tyres there is not a lot of good choice that I have found, Nankang make a N729 that is often advertised as a muscle car tyre but the details say it is a passenger car tyre.

Are there other 15" tyres I am not finding?

I recently had to replace my 265x50x15 BF Goodrich TA's and used Hankook Ventus H101.

What sort of driving do you do? Just cruising the streets?

Will have a look at the Hankooks thanks

It is a fun street car, there are some lovely windy roads near me that test the bolsters or lack of in my seats.

I have done some drag racing but understand that I should really have drag radials for that and I would like to do some hill climb or motorkhana if we ever get allowed to go outside again.

Ideally an all round street/performance tyre would suit me

My current 16" Yokohama V105 are great but they don't make 15"

There aren't really any performance tyres in 15", its either middle of the road or I think there are still a few semi slicks available (which would suit the hill climb).

In the end I gave in and went up to 17s for this very reason.

There are some 17s I like but I am trying to avoid the 40/45 series tyres that would be needed

Might be sticking with what I have
