I am leaning towards the triple SU route (instead of Webber’s) on my lj Torana just because of simplicity. i have found a few triple SU setups for sale, however I am not sure whether to get 1 3/4” or 2”.
The engine specs are as follows;
* 186 red motor with 202 crank and flat top pistons, bored 60 thou - making it 208ci. Unfortunately I don’t know what cam it’s got
* 179 low Comp head with yells terra valve stems and double valve springs
* exhaust and extractors
This is pretty much all I know of the engine, what do you guys think? The car will be a streeter/cruiser. Thanks all in advance

Good 2" are hard to find and will be overkill for your application.
Thanks for your advice mate. So out of curiosity, what would be the disadvantage of having triple 2” SU’s? U1 71 has shared triple 2” SU’s for sale which looks reasonable, but I would like to know what would be the downside of having 2”. Cheers bud

Thanks for sharing that mate, just pending to be accepted into the group and I will definitely be checking that out. Just trying to see whether having triple 2” SU’s will be too much or if 1.75” will perform better etc. Thanks matey

2 inch would be for high end performance.
