Im pretty sure the date we agreed on was the 18th of Feb? i think it was anyway.... haha ill changed that if it was other wise.
I cant wait for this day to come now! how many more sleeps would that be???

Should be an awesome day with racing and burnouts all day, then back to the motel for drinks at night!

I was actually waiting for the old posts to be brought back over cause there sjust so much info in this one alone!
Anyway you were close... jumpped the gun by a month!

Hey Guys n Girls,
i was just wondering if anyone can email me exact things that need to be done to the car in order for it to be raced.
coz apperntly the previous owner used to drag race my car, but it has no tail shaft loop which ive heard is a must??
anyway if someone could email that to me that would be fab!! email is [email protected]
so you can count me an the lh in for the day. mum will most likely be coming up but duno bout others yet.
also wat was the price for this event again?? and wen do you need the money by.

im pretty sure its about $40 for the day, and u pay on the day, as it gets closer Accomodation will be organised for people wanting to stay up there.... R u going to stay in the motel rene?

rene, dont stress to much, heathcote are alot more laid back on what needs to be done. i dont run a tail shaft loop either and ive raced there. I think they just check to see you have an over flow can, check your battery is all safe, that you have nothing piled up in the car that could fly around. check seatbelts and your helmet, so yeah just basic stuff.
Until i get myself a tail shaft loop done, im restricted to racing at heathcote, so you and me are lucky the days up there, hehe.

DEB- thats alrite then coz ive also been told that they can be a bit of a pain to install onto a torana, dont know weither thats fact or fiction tho. and also i have a larger tail shaft which could make it interesting.
also on that note deb one of the girls from the torana club is organising an all girls drag day which should be awsome!! ive put my name down do you want me to give her your name an number?? all that i know so far is that they are hinting at april next yr an some drag magazine is goin to sponser it, i think its at heathcote also, jus let me know.

I will derinatly be there just in the UC however, with its new exhaust and yella terra head! I don't think I will be able to make it in the LX, if I have it on the road it will be with a bango and I don't like its chances at the drags with 300 horses

Well hopefully by early january we'll be able to get a good idea of exactly who's coming, and have an idea of hotels and stuff around!
The time was actually in the old post.. i'll have to as Brett ( LXCHEV) about it again as he organised it all, but its a morning meet with racing from the morning till the late afternoon. Weve also got use of the burnout pad!

Omg this day is just becomin crazy i dont think ill be able to move with 830 there n these other quick cars il leave mine on the trailer haha n drool all day n beg for rides!! whats the chances of gettin litre 8 out there? Id love to c that thing with the bottle on!! Looks for howard!
