It sounds like a typical pyramid selling scheme to me, except with this one, you don't actually buy anything physical. Just a 3D rendering of an old Falcon.
How much did it sell for?
And the grey Maloo ute. Did you see how much that made??

On the news last night they featured the yellow GTHO Ph III that Lloyds had just sold for a record $1.5m and it's virtual digital NFT counterpart (correct me if I am wrong) sold for $56,000?

They have fixed it now, but the original models must of had the chev upgrade according to the badges on the models!
For some people who are regular buyers from their auctions, buying a cheap NFT would save them money with half prices fees for a year.
NFTs are interesting - you are buying the proof that you own a copy of the artwork, not copyright of it or anything else.
As seen with the LLoyds auctions, you can change just the colour and it is an entirely separate artwork.
All it does in the blockchain is usually point to a web address where the digital image can be found. If and when that website goes down or disappears from the internet, it will point to a non working link.

It must just be funny money.
I might turn this post into a NFT and as I own it, I will then take offers over $1000,000 for the ownership rights.
You can copy it for nothing, but until sold, I still own it.
Is that how it works?
