Hi all,

I have 2 issues going on with my cluster and keen to understand the possible causes:

1) speedo/odometer - speedo works however the odometer is stuck right on the cusp of 13999 0 and 14000 1 (the 1/10th mile is the only digit that revolves.)

2) Taco appears to read around 1000 RPM higher than usual. Reads 2000 RPM on average at idle, jumping spasmodically in the range of 1500 - 2500.

Any clues are much appreciated.

Sounds like someone may have tried to change the odo reading by rotating the numbered wheels and broken the little drive lugs off the 1/10 mile dial.

Your speedo and tacho both need the services of a qualified instrument repairer.

Speedo needs dismantling and a rebuild.

The Tacho problem sounds like the circuit board is either dying, or the 4/6 cylinder switch needs cleaning.
