mls leaking before start

hi guys got a new motor all done right by book by engine builder. last thing to do was put water in so i did and water started leaking out the extractor side quite a lot.. thinking that a welsh plug did not seal so took all of.. pumped up cooling system and water pouring out from between the head and block.. for the life of me cant see how this could happen.. thinking the gasket is 92 thou and it has failed so how??

any one have an idea

Sorry to hear. Head off for a look I suppose. Hope it's the gasket.

Did your builder use hylomer on the gasket? Highly recommended for MLS to seal.

Sorry, just re read, you didn't say MLS.
Was it a composite gasket or MLS?

sorry yea mls .. taking head of tomorrow having a look with engine man.. might need a bit of hylomer on it as you say.. i was so close for start up o well
