Who welds a set of nibs onto XU1 rims????? Also, while we are here, who manufactured the LC/LJ rims? I see made in Australia stamped into them, but no ROH.

I had a set of nibless that were made from mobbed with the lugs taken off on a lathe. You could still tell from the inside as there is an indentation where the lugs were.

lol..his welded up the lugs on inside and then dressed up both sides..turns a 50 dollar rim into a 500 one

should have seen what he wanted for a destroyed LC grill

I sold that bloke an original 5/72 nibless rim a couple of weeks ago. The story I got is that it was for son’s car as a Xmas present. Guess he just wanted to complete a set to flog them off.

Ha ha ha. Mate, it is amazing what those things are selling for at the moment.  I need someone to measure up the band of a 6 inch HK-T-G Monaro rim. I think they may be the same as the L34-A9X one.
