Gday All,

I've got these two sets of banjo diff axles and was wondering what the difference between the two of them are.

One set seems to have a rough texture along the shaft, and tapers fewer times. Where the 2nd set is smooth and tapers more times however both are fine spline, same length and have the same final diameter.

I've attached some images to hopefully assist. All I know is that the 'rougher' one is currently in my HZ wagon.

Thanks,

The rough one looks like all the normal fine splines in a Torana I’ve seen . The smooth one is an odd one , maybe it’s a modified billet

The Gemini had fine spline axles like that, they are a bit tougher the the std Torana axles.
