I see so many rooted instrument clusters advertised on Facebook. Usually followed by the tag line , "Was working when removed". 

 

PIGS ARSE! 

 

If the needles aren't parked correctly then sure as shit your new $1500 - 2000 cluster is going to need another $800+ spent on it just to make it work! 

 

Or 'Sports' clusters with the rear of the tacho cut out , because they never had a bloody tacho to begin with! 

 

To have a cluster checked by an instrument fitter is around $150 , which is cheap insurance for the stupid asking prices these days.

Yep. The prices have gone bananas. I don't know how many I could have bought for 150 bucks in the olden days.

Yeah no different to the GTS dashes $2000 seems to be starting prices seen them listed fir $3000
