Lads,

im missing a rod

Does anyone know where i might be able to get my hands on the remote door connector rod for RH LX hatch door? - i am in Perth

is the left the same as the right? and are the hatches the same sedans? (i dont think they would be... but that would make it easier to find)

it is the bottom one in the pic

Might be $55 plus postage?

Originals likely to be like hens teeth.

Left and right are the same for all the rods identified on this parts drawing.

Why would they be different? The locks look to be positioned in the same place in sedan and hatch.

The snipper button on the hatch door is further away from the latch mech than a sedan door which has the snipper button directly above the latch mech.
Also the interior opening handle if further away from the latch mech therefore a longer pull rod is required compared to a sedan.

Absolutely right, but the only relevant difference for THIS part is the lock barrel vs. door catch assembly.

Which part, by number, on the drawing are you talking about Heath?

How the hell did I interpret the wrong part, even when it was circled? Far out.

I made a total oversight. S Pack is right and this bit is hatch-specific.

Then again, nothing stopping me from making him one from some sedan bits if he can give me the measurements.
