Ian, you want the DBA 004 rotor for LC LJ XU1.

EBC Brakes they do a rotor and pad package for $200

made in Australia i think

Well you can use them if you really need them 

they have a direct replacement for XU1

A friend is fitting LJ XU-1 brakes to the front of his EK ute, and needs a pair of backing plates if anyone happens to have a set they would part with.

XU1 didn't have backing plates/shields, however, S, SL & GTR models did.

Yes Clay, they certainly will fit if he wants to run backing plates.
