Genuine 4.2 4-speed SL/R that I got from a farm at Queanbeyan for $1,500. I had a ball driving it home with my wife chasing me in her VT SS.
After finding a few leaking welch plugs I pulled the motor out and freshened it up, then stuck it in another Torana I have and installed a Blown 383 stroker that I had sitting waiting for another Torana Pro-Streeter that I'm building.
My friend John Taylor completely re-did the interior with a black crush type material after we installed the cage, then made and installed a black vinyl top. A new rubber kit went in and after cutting a hole in the bonnet for the blower and a few paint touch-ups, he was ready for the road.
