Hey all.
I just picked up a Series 1 VN v6 from work (I work at the somerville 4x4 wreckers) and need an engine loom for it, as the one that was on it was all butcher'd.
I went to Holden to get one, but they don't stock them anymore, and I was hoping that someone out there might know where I can get one, or even have one they could sell/gimme.
The loom I'm after is (of course) the computer to engine/ign, and as far as i know, a stand-alone unit.
Any help would be great.
Cheers,
Crisis

Only two weeks ago I was told the same thing by a Holden Spares dealer here in Canberra, I wanted a V8 loom to suit a VN (manual) - (the looms are different on the V8's not sure anout the 6's)
Note he needed a manual loom to modify even though my Torry is Tri Auto.
Anyway I was told that they could not be purchased from Holden!!!!
I contacted a local wrecker I know and his exact comments were 'They are on Drugs'
Two days later he rang me and had a brand new V8 manual loom sitting there labelled and packaged by GM.
The loom cost me around $225.00 from memory and I figured this would be the hassle free way to go rather than playing with somebodys old loom.
I then had a guy in Melb modify the loom to suit a Torana. Pics of the loom can be seen on my webpages under EFI. The guy in Melb is now trying to set up a small business modifying looms.
I dont know if he can alter 6 cylinder VN looms or infact if they need to be modified but if you want his number just pm me and I will gladly pass on to you his contact details and you can have a chat.
Cheers
