Anyone know of a good clear coat that is Heat resistant for polished alloy.
The ones i have been finding all say to use a primer .

brake calipers , transmission , manifold and other stuff like that . Going to try it out on the calipers first and see how it goes .

Calipers may be an issue.
Trans and manifold, dont get that hot, any polyurethane clear coat will handle the heat no worries.

Oh shiny! I wouldnt bother with the manifold as a polish will do it's bit to repel moisture and prevent oxidisation. As for the brakes and trans, sounds like a good idea.

Cerakote High Temp Coatings in the US have a few high temp ceramic clears.
Some are good to 600 deg C.
