It was a great day. I came home cooked like a mudcrab from the glorious sunshine.

A shame your footage stopped just before Brett Mcniffs big Val exploded its bleeder tearing the floor open and punching a hole in the scuttle in front of the windscreen.
I don't think Ive ever seen a tranny in so many tiny pieces.

Sure was Warren and thanks for action shots
Hi wot179, them's the breaks eh, I stopped to take some stills of the VL in other lane.
My mate and I were trying to work out the bits by looking at the camera pic and then as the wind was in our face everyone got a big wiff of oil.
Is that the mark on the Windscreen?

The hole in the scuttle is only just in view, mostly obscured by the bonnet scoop.
The chrome windscreen moold was also knocked off in the excitement.
The trans tunnel was an almighty mess, with a section about 10 inches round peeled up on the passengers side.
He was lucky not to lose a foot.
It certainly slowed racing down while they cleaned up the massive mess of oil.

Ahh I see the little piece now, did it have a scatter shield or was it not fast enough?
At least they kept the one lane busy and they did great work on that closed lane considering the amount of oil down.
I took 1250 pics and 28 videos in total with my still camera which the most I have ever taken at one meeting and if the battery never went flat I would have taken a lot more. When the battery warning light came on I stopped videoing and carried on taking another 220 pics lol.

The blue one or the white one?
The white one is the late Joe Borgs car driven by his brother Mick.
It runs a Duggan head.
Dunno about the blue one.

When I had a talk to him at the track, he said he still using flat top pistons, so he hasn't got much compression, it needs lumpy top pistons to get the compression up.
