can any one tell me if they have used or heard of a AUTO TECH 3.480 STROKER CRANK FOR A 308 HOLDEN
Ian tate has built this engine years ago. im thinking of buying and have been told that its a 355 auto tech stroker crank.

Can not say that I have heard the brand "auto tech' but I have been out of circles for some years.
Dave bennet dash 3 alloy heads are total crap.
If you buy the engine give the heads to me and I will replace them with a set of standard red heads.

Will probably be the same spec crank as used in the HSV 5.7L / 350ci engines. Do you know if it has Chev or Holden big ends? I'd avoid it if Auto Tech is another name for Proc....

Google autotech engineering...they're in sydney.
Just maybe as a guess they could have had them built just like old days when Active (manifolds) was around, they could have had their own made up.
Bennet heads can be good if they suited to how engine was built...been told the real early batches had hardness issues.
Tatey mostly did track engines
What specs on engine? engine block?
compression?
cam?
manifold?
dyno'd? receipts?
Price asked?

FYI I was being funny, they are actually a very good set of heads, probably near on par with VN heads.
