There are many places to buy the roof lining for an LX Torana, but if someone were stupid enough to misplace the rods.............is there any where that can supply them?
Thanks.

I'm assuming that they're made of spring steel or similar. Surely somebody could bend some up. It couldn't be harder to make than some of the stuff already on the market.

they are made of spring steel , but not "super springy" , getting a pattern to copy might be the hard bit ? ....assuming they are for a tudor ? , think there was something different about one of them (the back one?) and their was a "skinny one" as well that was just basically a wire ?

How could it be that hard to find a pattern to copy? Surely somebody has a complete headlining with the wires in it just lying around waiting for the restoration to start or finish?

ive heard that you can use sedan ones except for the rear one.. maybe easier to find sedan ones than hatch and just make the last one

From reading the above there is a total of 3 rods is this correct? I have two thick ones.
Also can someone confirm they are the same as sedan ones?
Thanks

There are 3 thick steel rods positioned at the front, middle and back of the headlining ribs. The other 2 ribs are thin steel wire and are positioned in-between the rods and connect to the hooks on the roof.

Thanks Mickyb.
Are any of the two thick ones the same or are they all different? My two are different.

Yeah, two are the same and have orange colour code. These went in positions 1 and 3. The other has green color code and went in position 5 (the last rod at the rear).
