Does anyone know the weight of the UC Hatchback as a bare body shell only?
Would two 450 kg engine stands converted to a rotisserie hold it no problems?
Cheers

A normal UC Hatch shell or a Heath's UC Hatch shell? (It's all a question of "speed holes"!) LOL...
But seriously...
A whole complete V8 hatch is around (say) 1400 kgs with a few modern conveniences added, by the time you remove the K-member, engine, gearbox and diff I'd expect it would be well under 900 kgs (2x 450 kgs)?
An absolutely bare shell can be lifted by three or four people so I'd guess they're only around 300-odd kgs?
I'd be interested to know myself if anybody has ever weighed one?

There is an old post where a guy weighed his LX sedan shell and it came in at 230kgs. Cheers Ron

Can lift a bare shell with a mate and walk it into a garage, so can't be that heavy.
