Has anyone drilled and tapped a HQ Cast Iron brake caliper so the brake line entry point is at the front as per L34? I’ve read most of the HQ brake conversion tutorials here and have seen people mention it but not sure if anyone has actually done it. If someone has drilled a new entry point, where did you get it done? ie: proper brake place or just local machine shop.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Cheers

Forget about your local brake repairer this is a job for an engineering shop if you don't have the gear to do it yourself.

Cheers S pack, there’s a couple of engineering shops around here so I’ll see if any will have a go at it.

I’ve done this - a Mate of mine has a Machine Shop. Just copied off a standard LH Caliper - put a Bolt with Copper Washer in “HQ Hole”. I’ll try to find Photos.
