Hi
I have been given a photo of my car from back in the 80s, showing the number plate.
The plate is Victorian, is there a site which i could use to confirm the chassis number against that old number plate?
Cheers

The Association of Motoring Clubs (AOMC) have the old Vicroads card records and could do a search for you. There is a small fee involved.

They say they require an engine number for the search. No engine number = No search.

Dave l didn't have the engine number for my SLR/5000 and the AOMC did a card by card search for me based upon the engine number of a 5000 produced in the same month.
At the time (Sept 2007) l was corresponding with Phillip Johnstone of the AOMC who couldn't have been more helpful. The AOMC search did produce a result which provided the
original registration number, date of first registration and the engine number.
