It'll be interesting to hear about the difference in driveability between the snailshell and a real blower.
You will definitely see much lower engine bay temps anyway.

Yeah mate, that is the key driver with in. Plenty of power and torque....but uck, hot in there!
Rather see that heat exit the exhausts rather than go around in the engine bay .

I haven't looked at all these links but this post on the JC forum has a lot of info about supercharging VE's...

Workmate daily driver is 7 litre whiple blown vf clubbie he got it all done through Sams...spends most of it's life in hipster beach suburbs doing 50km/h.Think it originally had 2300 then swapped out for bigger 2650.
Can't remember if it made 700rwhp or more after last round of mods & 6l80e got the Craigs treatment..baby cam/stally,higgins heads 427ci in alloy ls3 block on 98 fuel.
Thought it'd be quicker down low but vf clubbie is heavy with all the trimmings...once mid-range torque kicks in it just keeps pulling untill run out of road or balls.
I like magnussen kits as said to run cooler but results with more popular whipple vf kits are well proven.
