You can get gloss or matt black. Its not always in the auto paints
section. Sometimes you can find it in the hobby section at Bunnings
or Mitre 10 or the like.
Just make sure you really clean the parts first. Tooth brush in all the
grooves and over the fake moulded in stiching. Make sure no residue
left from cleaning.
Turn upside down and paint inside bottom edges first as a test.
When dry chuck it on a box, on a table, so you can move around
it easily and spray away.
Dont try to do it in one thick go, a few layers is better.
Are you getting the padded arm rest re-done too? Cause you can
use the same vinyl paint on that too.

Many moons ago I had an SL hatch with brown interior.
I did the interior myself and put supra seats in it.
All on a really tight budget.
The back seats were the prob. Couldnt afford to get
them retrimmed, so I sprayed them with vinyl paint
in matt black.
They stayed looking good 'til the day she was stolen from me.

Best of luck Jack, remember to really clean it all first, not just with
cleaners, but plain water & detergent too. You'd be amazed at how
old coke spills wont clean off with cleaners, but will wipe away with
a wet rag!!
