Hey guys, this is similar to my other post i just did. im new and dont know what to do performance wise to my new toy which will be here in a day or two.
dunno much bout holden engines as my everyday car is a magna.
so please keep everything in laymens terms. the lh comes iwith a 173 i think it is. do these engines have m,uch potential??? or i have access to a 202 blue, what are these engines like? are they any good?
i want he rana to be a sleeper that i can open up when i want to and have it haul ass. im looking at around 3-4 grand on the eninge including all the change overs and new wiring and all the rest of it, so what should i do? which engine and wat mods to it to make it haul ass!

Welcome along, personally I'd build the blue 202 but bear in mind you may need to meet emission regs for the newer engine.

not if you have access to a complete vehicle that you can get all the relevant parts out of.

Depends on what you want it too do,
and how much you are prepared to pay to run and register it.
ie
Do you want a 6 cylinder or an 8?
Auto or manual?
There are a lot of good combo's that can be put together,

hey mate... ah if u want a good, reliable fast car then build up a black 202..
im doin the same but its costing me a bit. if u want the same but without the deep rumble go for a 3.8 lrt comm engine.
