I was looking at 15x10x26, but need to extend wheel arch.
What size do you use?

A mate of mine has 26 x 10 / 15 on his LJ with std wheel arches, it has been tubbed & moved his rear shocks to the other side of the control arm & up through the boot, i run a weld draglite 15 x 8 with 5" back space, i also moved the bottom shock mount up on to the top of the lower control arm mounting bracket, it had a std tub just widened & moved in to the rail,
You can also put a 5mm (or more) shim under the rear coil to give a bit more height clearence.
What rear suspension set up do you have

if your running 18 x 10's, you should have no problems fitting 26 x 9 or 26 x 10, with 18" street rims you might even get a 28 x 9 in there, just get some rims with 5" back space.

you said your mate ran 26 x 10 15 tyres on the std arch? did he have to jack the rear up to get them to fit? i struggled to run the micky t 235 60 15 on mine and that was with 40mm of spacing under the springs. If you could pm me any info at to how or photos that would be great.

Chris, im 99% sure his arches have'nt been streched, i do know that he runs steel 15" rims with a custom off set, & he has moved his rear shocks to the inside of his control arms instead of the std position & also squared his tubs & moved them into the ralis, the side walls of his slicks are very close to the rails, sorry dont have any pics of it
