I'm looking for advise on which workshop manual to purchase, I own a 1973 LJ GTR with a 186 engine. I already have LC & LJ parts books. I'm considering pruchasing an aftermarket manual like Gregorys No.84 which doesn't include 186 or the Ellery Holden Torana LC LJ LH LX UC GTR XU1 SLR5000 1969 - 1979 Repair Manual.

Cheers

Don't waste your money on the Ellery book. I have a few of them and I find it difficult to locate what I need to know. Either the information or specs is buried in a section where you wouldn't expect or it isn't in the book. The Gregorys manuals seem to be a lot better.

Personally, go with the genuine Holden LC Workshop manual. Far better than the aftermarket rubbish and more details. If you are interested PM me I have one I'm looking to sell.
