I hate paying $20 to park but I'm in :)

Anyone want to cruise in together?
Meet somewhere on the way. I'll be coming from Ringwood way so anywhere along the way is cool.
Aim to get there around 7.30 I suppose.

I think the vic torana club usually cruises in so we could tag along.
From memory they meet up at Repco Bayswater. If anyone has details on what the vic torana club is doing please share

I think I said Gisbourne could be a good spot to meet. Its basically central from every direction bar the North.

I've parked a few cars in there over the years and it's not really a show. I mean, cars are all parked together and I'm sure some dudes get trophies and shit but for the most part it's the best spot to park because you're right amongst it and not far to walk to grab a burger or drool over an old mustang

I'll meet wherever or just follow the torana club in if they're going.

Funny story, the VIC torana club Facebook page used to be great. Heaps of non club members were on the page and used to tag along to events and share/chat on the page with actual members. All was great. Anyways, typical car club elitist wankers must've had a whinge that all these non-members were on their page (Facebook remember), so they voted at a club meeting and as a result killed the page and started a new one for members only. Last night I was looking for their page to see if they're going to hanging rock and the official page has 16 members. Used to have thousands. Be a real interesting page with 16. lol

I'm 100% for the black Saturday cruise. Post here or Text me Wayno/Grant if you blokes want to meet up somewhere before.

Hanging rock is 50/50. If its not windy and good ski weather then I'll be doing that.

Going to be a great weekend!

Probably not going to go early. Will more than likely get there about 11am. Hopefully the traffic has subsided by then.

I went to the Hanging Rock car show today and it was a disappointment. It was the seventh show we have attended.
When will these big shows under stand its all about the cars.
1, the early cars always get positioned around the parks. Not this year all out on the oval. This made it difficult for shade and BBQ picnics. By 11.00 am more cars were leaving than entering. By 10.00 am the cars were all dusty and complaints every where.
2, the $20 entry per car, there was no sign all day of what charity it was going to. To donate to charity no problem.
3, the $5 burger in bread, $12 wood fire pizza, $2 doughnut. Just ripping people off. It is a family day!
4, when leaving whe had to drive 500 meters down a terrible scrub track and leave with a black car.
Macedon Rangers Car Club have a good look at your selfs. It's all about the cars not your idiotic quest for high profits. The numbers were Dow this year big time.

We didn't arrive until 12 midday. To my surprise I was seeing cars driving home on the highway at that time but I guess people wanted to do stuff in the afternoon. Must have been over 1000 cars and bikes there today and we probably only saw 20% of those. Bought some lunch there and I agree it was very expensive and pretty crap food.

We left about 2.30pm and it was a nightmare to get out. We were probably stuck in traffic for 20 minutes just waiting to get on the main road. It was a good day though and the boys enjoyed it. Will probably arrive a touch earlier next year and leave a lot later. Here's just a few pics that I took during our 30 minutes walk around.

Why is it when I go to an event lately I bump into famous footballers

A little bit of HP to start off.
