Ouch to that! Speedy recovery and hope you got the pain killers on hand.

Ouch yes, but not the motorbike Col... this one involved a ladder, a roof, an unsecured sheet of metal roofing, a gust of wind, and a paling fence...
Anyone want to join the dots?
Sounds like what I did about 15 months ago. Walked away with only 5 stitches and a tetanus shot. Sometimes you're lucky, sometimes not.

I DO consider myself very lucky.... of all the possible outcomes I could see, I definatly got the better one! It wouldn't have taken much to be different for me to be dead, or para/quadraplegic...

Sorry - ended up back in hospital for more surgery, and didn't get around to posting the pics of the car...

Great Job
Seen your x ray pic
If your Pain does not go away and stays then beaware it could be RSD as RSD can happen in leg injury.

So is it likely to see the track again?

Thanks Al,
Not sure what RSD is, but my injury is my arm - not leg.
At the moment it's infection I am battling - looks like I'm going to have to go back in for more surgery to remove the metalwork once the bone is healed... :-(

Most definitely Vick.... though I'd say it'll be very cautious at first - especially for Dad!

RSD can be triggered off from a arm or leg injury.
It is also called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, just a heads up incase your Pain does not go away, if it happens it needs to be treated ASAP. They give you nerve blocks and Hydro therapy to calm it down.
If left untreted it becomes Permanent and there is no cure.
