He peeps. Has anyone successfully installed a slr fuel, oil, water temp, battery gauge to a sl yellow needle dash? I have a possible chance to purchase one. But don't want to hand over the $$$ before doing some homework.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The SLR and SL dashes have a different backing.

The SLR cluster housing is flat in the quad gauge area. The SL cluster housing has raised sections for mounting the warning light globes. You will need to cut out the warning light area from the SL dash and replace it with a flat section to mount the quad gauges.  A piece of 3 mm acrylic or polycarbonate would do the job.

I cut out the warning light area on a SL cluster house for my VDO conversion and made a new panel.
