I just went to fit the front brake caliper on my lj only to find that the thread is stripped where the brake pipe screws in, Can this be repaired or do i throw the caliper away.

I'm all good with that but wasn't too sure how i could do it without damaging the tapered seat, do you think it is possible.?

If you're careful.
There are also bleeder repairers, drill a new bigger hole, tap with a new thread, something like BSP or NPT, and screw it in, its a sleeve with a new bleeder inside.
Something like this, BUT WOW I never paid that much for mine many years ago... They do come in different sizes.

Mick, he says it is the brake pipe connection that is stripped not the bleeder nipple.
