Muzzy says the engine is using a 1/2 litre of engine oil every 1000km so probably not burning brake fluid.

I realize where the vacuum comes from for the brakes, the valve in the booster is right up the top & it would have to go past 3 seals to be in the manifold hose and go up hill, never have i seen that happen on any car before.

Hi Brian, my post was meant for lawn bowls, Replying to the brake fluid theory of his. I have never seen it happen before. & yes i figured yours would be engine oil, did you check out Tony's suggestion mate ? Gary.

Lol I had the same thought re the brake fluid, nill and bucklys chance.
Brian, im curious as to how you narrowed down which cylinders were chewing the oil? Purely because its just handy shit to know for future endeavours.

So going by your comments it can only be in the guides or stem seals area.
