Hey all, went as a guest to the VTC Xmas run organised by LUSHAS (Renee) on Sunday 18th December. Have to say that it was a fantastic run; great to see the 15-16 cars or so that turned up for the cruise winding their way around the Christmas Hills, before ending up at the Eltham miniature train grounds.
Having organised many runs of my own before with the Cruisers and one of the Forum runs (Studley Park boathouse to the Dandenongs), was good to see a well-organised cruise with actual cruising, with the cars actually sticking together instead of it becoming an all-out drag race. There were a few opportunities for the occasional squirt here and there, but all in all it was nice to see all the torries in a line - breaking necks all the way!
Was also a good opportunity to put faces to new names around the club e.g. Heath - great to meet you finally! I had a great time talking to so many of the members about their cars - loved that purple LX with silver over the top (Mike's) and the purple LC with the white interior. For us three former members that tagged along, Brett, Flamenco and I enjoyed ourselves immensely - great work again Renee, see you on the next cruise! EvilGTR
PS didn't take any photos myself, anyone else have any to share???

Great route but it was a shame about the unfortunate weather. Rick (TORANA AMORE) got some snaps that he'll send on to me some time soon. I'll upload some good ones when I've got them. Nice to meet you Andrew and glad to hear you enjoyed yourself.

Looks like i missed a good run. I was going to go up to Winton, but after getting home quite late on saturday nite from moving the parts car i was to tired, and i didn't get up untill nearly 12 on sunday, so i missed the VTC Christmas run as well.
