G'day all.
Got some Pacemaker extractors which appear to be in very good nick, but could do with a respray.
Can anyone suggest a proven method that will look good years down the track?
Do I need to prime them before painting, or just sand them back and give em a coupla coats of VHT?

Cheers....

ceramic coating is the only method i've seen last.
spray paint (VHT) gets dirty and or burns off with time.

I bought a can today for the Rangie's extractors and it recommends only one coat or blistering may occur.

I used high temp white on mine, and it came up a treat, the paint is still on the extractors too! I think it was VHT, i will check

after you have cleaned then stick them over the exhaust of another car till they get reasonably warm, then paint em, makes a big difference in the heat tolerance, and final curing process.
