got new (rare spares) door belts to fit. Fronts go on easy, the rear ones seem to be a straight seal tryin to fit on a slightly curved frame !!!!!!! do i have to slightly curve the belt to get it to fix properly????? they r the ones that dont come with clips, they say to glue them on.

ok pics

as u can see by this pic the curve in frame, wood is a straight edge

i was also wondering if the raised section on door skin internally, where original belt clips would connect, could cause inside lip of seal not to sit properly. hard to take pic of but if u know ya doors u will kno what i am talkin about

in this pic i am tryin 2 show the gap from rubber to metal door lip that it attaches to.

this is front door which fits fine but is a straight edge

dunno, aside from gently bending and heating them i dont see any other way of gettin them 2 fit.

I don't think the door is supposed to be curved like that. Just try the best you can. It really doesn't matter much especially with the little lip that hangs over the outside of the door skin. Water IS going to get inside your door even with these on. My weather strips don't even have clips. I just glued them on using some clear contact adhesive.
