Injected 5.0 Sump pattern

Hey all, Just a question regarding the Injected 5.0L Blocks, With the sumps,
Will a Torana V8 sump bolt upto the EFI Block or are the sump bolt patterns different

Bolt patterns are the same.

Thanks mate, Ive just seen alot of people use "modified" sumps, but if there is no need to, then just use a torana sump

Those "modified" sumps may have different internal oil-retaining features, like uni-directional mesh, crank scrapers, hinged gates, and baffles. But the main reason for modifying a sump is to increase its oil capacity. They're not usually modified to alter the bolt patterns or mounting surface.

Yeah i know about the modded sumps e.g HIGH ENERGY and all them sorts how they have different features and capacity rates

I was just making sure they had not changed the bolt pattern with the 304 block thats all, And castlemaine rodshop are apparently selling a "modified" sump for injected conversions, Thats what got me thinking if they had changed the bolt pattern thats all, Thanks for the feedback fella's

The gasket looks slightly different (more hole)
But this isn't really an issue
