Posted Imagein the proces of trimming this manifold to suit 2" carbs, looking at the rather large vacuum holes in the top of the runner. is this standard? is there a reason for it to be so BIG? if not i was thinking about plug welding and drilling a much smaller (4mm) hole hoping to create a tad less turbulence..

whadda we think? is there a saving there?

you will make a little saving, not huge though I wouldnt think. I would do it, but thats just the kind of person I am, people used to look at things we would make and ask us why we went to so much effort to drop a couple of grams here and there, but it all adds up. we used to win............

just that holes this size (IMO) would promote the intake mix to swirl the wrong way, would you think there'd be enough for the vacuum line with three 4mm holes??
