I would like to have someone polish my sprintmaster rims but they also need repainting. The polisher says he can dip them and then polish and then I can get them repainted. I have spoken to a powder coater and he said dip them first(but this may cause problems with the paint adhering) then roughly mask where you dont want it painted and then get them polished... any ideas on what is the best process and comments of who can do this in Adelaide is appreciated.

I would try another polisher if you know of any others and see what they say. In the past I have had wheels polished then taken them to a spray painter to be masked up and 2 packed, however the last place I went to for getting the wheels polished had their own spray booth. They did the lot and were recommended wheel repairers for many insurance companies. It was alot different to some of the smaller places I used to go to which used to polish then pressure pack wheels.- Fat Tony.
