At last we can now tell you that the Albury Autofest has the green light and we can finally announce the location, people have been trying to guess but no one even came close,should of made a comp out of it hey,but anyway its the ALBURY AIRPORT (How Good Is That)with all that tar mack those who enter are going to have some serious fun.
Events planned are Burnout comp,Go to Whoa,Motakana,Dyno Shootout,DB Drag Racing etc etc,and a HUGH Automotive Trade Display from most of the market leaders.More infomation will come in the next few weeks and also keep an eye out for media releases witch will suprise many.

Ok people Murray Bridge Autofest offically a hugh sucess with over 15000 spectators and 201 entrants,Now its Albury`s turn for Autofest,Bring on 23rd,24th and 25th of Febuary 2007

I find it absolutely absurd that for car enthusiasts like us all who spend tens of thousands of dollars on our beloved beasts have to fork out between $150 - $200 to put our cars in a show for the viewing public to see, especially when the public themselves have to pay to see these cars. I now the organisers have to make a quid but struth. Every single person I have spoken to about this (car lovers or not agree 100%). There's no way I'll be taking my car for that much jumpin jack flash. I'd rather invest it in the car itself. :furious:

Yes you can enter up until 2.30pm Saturday 24th and if you only wish to display only (ie no driving events) this will cost you $100.We would love to have free entry but as our cost for this event alone are around $400.000 its very hard to do.

I still cannot fathom for the life of me even if I wish to put my car on display for the "show n shine" how it's going to cost me $100. Maybe $20 would be more fairer.
