From what I hear, theres not going to be many Toranas there, especially A9X L34. I'll be there with or without the car, depending on weather.

im not sure if its a replica or the actual car,
we seen it driving thru kempsey on thursday on the road.
and a mate seen it in coffs harbour later that day
if you see it ,take a heap of pics, and find out details of the owner.
we are chasing the history of it, its been missing for a few years ,
imagine our shock seeing it on the road in kempsey, over 1800k's from its last known home
cheers

by pointing out his engine number was a grind down
and re-stamp....an SLR I think?
I guess this should go in to a new topic, but do we
have any tables or links to engine numbers/body numbers/
vin plates?
Would be a good ref. before buying....
Now I'm gettin' nervous about my SS!!!!
I want to make her 'factory'.
Cheers, Leakey

Not a bad turnout. The LC/LJ guys turned up in numbers but the LH/LX boys stayed away ( with the exception of REDA9X, SLR5000 and a few others that I didn't know ).
I thought the Monaro display was awesome, the HSV cars looked great, the RT's were sexy but the early GT cars owned the show. They looked fantastic, more HO's than a Kings Cross night club.
Ahh, Bathurst sun, fair dinkum, somebody lit the fuse on that fireball beacuse it was REALLY HOT !!!! Ran into REDA9X at lunchtime Saturday and he looked absolutely stuffed. The bitumen was melting and the heat was stinging.
I took my girls for a blast around the track ( not a copper in sight ). Followed a pair of XY's who were keen to have a bit of fun.
All in all, a good day but I was dissapointed that there were no L34's and few A9X's. It didn't hold a candle to the 2005 Muscle Car Masters at ECR ( even with all the rain, it shit all over Bathurst ).
Hopefully 2007 will be better.
By the way, my camera packed it in, but I did manage to take 6 pictures. I dont know how to host but can email them to someone.
Cheers
