Hey I've got a charcoal velour headlining to go in with the rest of the interior, the only thing I'm missing (well, that won't match the rest) is the grab handles or jesus handles - whatever you wanna call them.
I went to some wreckers today and with any of the factory black headlining vehicles (there were two and I was even surprised by that!), someone had beaten me to those handles. What do people do? Is there another vehicle which has the holes line up that people can suggest? Or do you all just paint your handles? It's not really a priority but it's one of the few things on the car that I don't have a solution for in my mind.

Just paint them, if it was going to be a full on show queen then id say look for really good ones but if its your daily i say paint away saves a bit of $$ anyways.

Headlining already has the holes; so I need to fill it somehow.
It's also got holes in the C pillar section (originally for an LH) so I need to either install my seatbelt restriants up into those pillars (which will require welding a nut onto the back as well!) or put something else in to fill the holes up. For the moment it doesn't have to be perfect though...
When I assemble the interior, I am gonna paint the dash and grab handles etc so it looks half reasonable, I'll chase some better solutions later on I guess.

my mates old land rover had a Holy F**KING Jesus bar, and it got a fair work out.
about the VHT staying on there, as if anyone is going to hold on to them to wear it off, its only got a stocko 202, and your gonna put it on gas

^^^^ HAHAHA ^^^^ so true.....
i painted lots of things with the vht stuff. it does work pretty well. i think my arm rests were even painted in it and they paint hasnt come off them yet.
Just paint them and if you have any problems with it, just paint them again...
