wiper motor cover

G'day guys,its 4 o'clock in the morning and ive just taken the cover off my wiper motor on my lj to paint it, now i cant get it back on because of the brushes sticking out on their springs.does anyone know how to get the covers back on? Phil. :cry:

Can be done, done it a few months ago. Swearing helps, can't help with anymore. Take the bonnet off will help. Or pull heater out.

Haven't opened one so I can't be sure it'll apply, but try a piece of packing tape or strip of paper, wrapped around it like a ring compressor.

g'day all.i got the cover on,i held the brushes back with paper clips & extra hands,you were right lakeside swearing & bonnet removal helps.Cheers,Phil.
