Hi there,
Some time ago asked holden for some info on my car, gave them the numbers and this is what they have come back with - nothing really there i didnt already know, except the line where it lists the brakes - the car now has a ford 9 inch in it (why did someone have to molest it!!!)
i know rear disks only came on A9X but this was a late build hatch with RTS

-is this info from Holden suggesting it originally had rear disks?
-or is the JL2 in brackets a code for drums?

disc brakes were an option on the LX range so it's possible. They used the UC style setup. Very rare though. JL2 is front disc brakes however, not rear

That's just worded wrongly.

JL2 is the PO code for Power Front Discs with Rear Drums.

JM8 is the PO code for Power 4 Wheel Discs.
