Sorry don't have any pics SL/R SS A9X but I think it would look good. Ages ago people used to put the spotties behind the grille. I was entertaining the idea myself awhile ago. There's a few brands of driving lights that would fit in the spoiler's holes quite well.

I just deleted a photo a few days ago of an aqua hatch, A9X kit and Billet wheels with those little blue oval lights down in the spoiler but they weren't set back at all and honestly I thought they looked pretty terrible which is why I deleted the photo. I would like to see some driving lights installed tastefully so if you decide to do that mod, take some snaps and stick them up here.

Considering that those holes in the spoiler are called Brake Ducts, i would suggest you keep them free and clear so that the air passing thru them can get where it is needed.
Not a big fan of all the riced up Commonwhores, etc that fill this potentially very important area with spotties......

And Yes, TREX, it is illegal to have them a) burning when there isn't fog or B) not hooked up to the High beam/on a separate switch.

It's an individual thing but I prefer my brake ducts to actually cool the brakes rather than bung them up with lights.

Here's another version. Note the correct front spoiler.

LOL Yep decent dint although doesnt take much. Cant confirm or deny your theory though although pic is probably too recent (just over 20 years ago).

On the issue of braking ducts, most bodykits don't have the ducts at all, they just have two holes in a spoiler. I think you'll find that virtually all of the air cooling the brakes will be coming in from the air turbulence caused by the spokes turning.

Then again, if you're running a front spoiler without ducts with lights filling the spoiler holes, and Dragway Centrelines all round, you may have an issue.

What I am saying is buy the brake ducts rather than buying fog lights unless perhaps you live in an extremely fog prone zone and even then you are still going to need decent brakes - every bit helps....The cheap body kits don't have them, I have noticed that too, where I purchase my quality body kits he has them and even then they only include what you ask for in the kits (as far as I have seen).
Given the choice I would have both fog lights and brake ducts. Fog lights are not a priority for me at the moment, I have not been out in a decent fog for years.

I was just rembering the issue with the white A9X hatch and the ZR1 Kawasaki. Harvey ran into the back of Mick Hone on the bike and damaged the nose cone. That car is still around today

as she looks now

Well what about if you built the lights into the front grille, i believe this could easily be done, just gotta take ur time and proberly require alot of patience. Just cut the front grill to match the demensions of the lights, rectanqular ones would look better. might just have have to make a bracket for them. but should be easily enough done. check my idea on the photo below.

cheers.
