looking at swapping the traumatic for an m20...

i have a rat-trap clutch setup and pedals already.

question is, if i get this m20 i'm looking at, which used to run a cable clutch in a HZ ute, will it be a problem to fit using the rat-trap clutch?

is the throw out fork and bellhousing the same?

is the console the same if you take out the auto gear label/selector bit?

cheers.

The question you are asking is whether the cable (pull type) will enable the rat trap (push type) to bolt to it. yes the rat trap will bolt to the bellhousing but the clutch operation will not work.

You need to look at the bellhousing to see whether you are able to place the pibot closer to the drivers side of the bellhousing. If this is able to be achieved then all you need to source is the new clutch fork ans you are all sorted.

Cheers

I used a HZ cable clutch pedal. But I also removed the park brake & fitted a UC handbrake, so I could reconfigure the pedals. My clutch now hangs on the left of the column & the pedals are nicely spaced.
