well, after a lot of thinking, i decided i'd upgrade the handling of the car before i got stuck into the power, which is stupid because i'm a p plater.
its an lx hatch and will one day be v8, which means it'll be heavier in the front, would i need to have different springs and parts if i'm changing from a 6 to 8? should i set it up for an 8 now or will the handling be worse?
so many questions!

Not having a go at you but here's a tip. In the topic/thread title, be more informative/specific as to what the topic/thread is about. That way people with expertise in the particular area will be able to help you out more readily.

Edit: The Springs get changed from normal to Heavy Duty when going from a 6 to an 8.

If you install H/D V8 springs before the V8 goes in, the front will be quite stiff, bit I put up with it for 5 years without too much drama.
