can anyone tell me if it sucessfull with the re-colouring of a gtr interior from black to gold or would i be better off selling it & ordering a new set of door trims & recover seats the set i have are excellent in condition.

good condition black interiors are worth big bucks. you're better off selling it (or holding onto it) and buying a reproduction gold set.

I painted the original set of doeskin door trims out of my gtr years ago (young and dumb) and regreted it ever since so my advice would be dont do it.

sell them and buy new ones as i recon you will have trouble gettin the colour right id your after antique gold 41X

It goes both ways. Black interior's aren't exactly rare so they should go down in price...but it is the most wanted because most XU1s were optioned with it. I think an LJ/LC with a different interior apart from black is much nicer and "original". Sell the black and buy repro gold
