^^^Absolutely dave720!! I think it's fair to say that since we all lost the late GREAT PB,the interest in Tory's[all models-especially models that saw track duty] has really intensified!
For proof you only need to flick through Unique Cars, and compare with prices from just a few months ago. Even taking `Tatiana' out for a spin, it's clear to me, by the increase in the attention, comments, thumbs up etc:[always happens] Interest has gone up to a new level though.
Anyone else having the same experience?
Their on to us !! :D

once they go there they wont be comin back.....have to disagree with that...ive got a 69 pontiac ram air 3 gto which has been in oz since new and also a 71 455 ho transam been here since new....both are goin back to where they came from in the next few years..WHY?...worth more there than here...same will happen with the oz cars in the usa....all comes to dollars....that daytona in that thread was a sydney northern beaches car and it went back coz they were prepared to pay...australians werent...

I'd rather spend $70k on bringing an XU-1 back than on a Corvette/'Stang/Camaro etc.

One of my mates has imported a few old American cars and loves being able to register them as left hand drive.

Apparently this is starting to catch onto the Yanks and they can really stand out driving an Aussie Muscle car which is right hand drive.

Cheers Mick.

P.S. The Yanks have the advantage as the American dollar buys alot more of our cars for their dollar.

Having a L/Hand drive car in australia is ok...til you have to go through a toll booth by yourself with no-one in the passenger seat! and you realise the booth is on the other side of the car, Oh and overtaking another car well thats fun
