Alright, so i've got my LC and its got the poxiest mirrors you've ever seen. Im wondering what the GTR/GTRXU1 mirrors look like for the LC range. I've seen something on the net about people using Kingswood mirrors from the same time, (HQ).(apparently the torana mirrors have a wider base?) I know next to nothing about the right mirrors for my LC, someone set me straight with some photos. Cheers.

lc's had a narrow base , identical to the HR
they screwed to the door from the inside and had a locating pin about 10-15mm from the screw hole this locating pin is about half the diameter of the screw.
the mirror head is round and screws to the stem.

It's not a very good picture - but this is what you are after. It says in the description that it also suits an LJ - this is not correct. If you opt for LJ mirrors take care as there are a lot of mirrors sold as LJ but they dont have the correct base. As a result, the mirror head scratches the door. Let me know if you need more info on LJ mirrors.

The picture shows the hr & lc mirror stem. The mirror is an after market job.
The mirror is round a little larger than the one pictures with smokey grey glass.
LJ's had an entirely different set up using a rectangular missor.

While this is off my HG this is the sort of mirror you are looking for on the LC. My mirror stem is longer and fatter than the lc one but teh head is the same. Have a look at these. Sorry for bad images, I could not find teh camera, so teh phone ended up being the device. Hope I find it soon, has all of my Brocky big day out pics on it.. :(
