changed the pads on a uc today and found the left caliper sticking slightly on, which had caused the outer pad to wear at a much quicker rate, and also wore the inner pad more so than the right side.
when i had the pads out the caliper seemed to move freely so what do i need to do to get it right.
caliper sticking

everytime i put in new pads i grind the sliding surfaces dead flat, then make them smooth, then a coat of grease.

Been meaning to ask Datto this for a while, but pins that the calliper slides on tend to get fairly dry, despite the rubber boot, maybe a little grease on these? Datto?
To test to see if this is where the problem is, see if the caliper removed from the disk will slide freely on the pins.

CRC Staylube synthetic caliper grease
I actually have in the past removed the pins and cut a spiral groove with a lathe on the pin about 1mm deep...... gives the grease somewhere to sit when you push the pin back in rather than being forced out
This is the PBR caliper with the rectangular pads
Not the PBR caliper with Commodore pads
